Novo Modo operates the highest-quality 5-axis machining centers equipped with extended tool carousels and quick-change fixturing systems to reduce setup time and human error. These high-end CNC machines are upwards of 3 times more accurate and repeatable than machines more common in industry. They are also typically 2-3 times faster in various machining scenarios, reduce the number of operations, and reduce the time a part is in the CNC machine, increasing our throughput.
AS9100/ISO9001 certified, the QMS at Novo Modo has become a cornerstone of our operation. We are ITAR registered and will be working towards our CMMC level 2 certification in the coming year.
Novo Modo features a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for every Machining Center. CMM is a crucial part of our manufacturing process that eliminates costly time-consuming, re-works and re-runs of parts. They are utilized to both verify our manufacturing process and remove the human error potential of hand measurement.
Novo Modo partnered with OpenMIND technologies for programming the 5-Axis CNC mills and Verisuft for programming the 5-Axis CMMs. These software focus on efficient high mix programming and accurate digital twin simulation, decreasing the time from programming to execution, eliminating manual coding, and through the virtual simulation, ensure safe, efficient operations out of the machine. Our Manufacturing Floor is managed by ProSHOP, the ERP system for Machine Shops built by a Machine Shop!
